Tropar Resurrectional, Tone 5

Let us, the faithful, praise and worship the Word, Co-eternal with the Father and the Spirit, born for our salvation of the Virgin. In His Good Will He was lifted up on the Cross in the flesh to suffer death and to raise the dead by His glorious Resurrection.

Recording the times and years of the accomplishments of right memorable men and the struggles and labors of the God-bearing fathers, O all-wise Nestor, thou didst burn with love to follow in their footsteps. With them intercede in prayer before Christ God, that our souls be saved.

З Посла́ння до Гала́тів Свято́го Апо́стола Павла́ чита́ння (6:11-18)

Браття, бачите, як багато я написав вам власною рукою. Ті, які бажають хвалитися по плоті, примушують вас обрізуватися тільки для того, щоб не бути гонимими за хрест Христовий, бо й ті, що обрізуються, і самі не додержують закону, але хочуть, щоб ви обрізувалися, аби похвалитися у вашій плоті. А я не бажаю хвалитися, хіба тільки хрестом Господа нашого Ісуса Христа, котрим для мене світ розп'ятий і я для світу. Бо у Христі Ісусі нічого не значить ні обрізання, ні необрізання, а нове творіння. Тим, які живуть за цим правилом, мир їм і милість, та Ізраїлеві Божому. А втім ніхто не обтяжуй мене: бо я ношу рани Господа Ісуса на тілі моїм. Благодать Господа нашого Ісуса Христа з духом вашим, браття. Амінь.

З Посла́ння до Галатів Свято́го Апо́стола Павла́ чита́ння (5:22–6:2)

Браття, плід же духа є: любов, радість, мир, довготерпіння, благість, милосердя, віра, лагідність, стриманість. На таких нема закону. Але ті, котрі Христові, плоть свою розп'яли з пристрастями й похотями. Якщо ми живемо духом, то за духом повинні й діяти. Не будемо марнославні, один одного дратувати, один одному заздрити. Браття! якщо і впаде людина в якийсь гріх, ви, духовні, виправляйте такого в дусі лагідності, пильнуючи кожний себе, щоб і ти не був спокушений. Носіть тягарі один одного і так здійсните закон Христовий.

З Посла́ння до Єфеся́н Свято́го Апо́стола Павла́ чита́ння (6:10-17)

Браття, нарешті, зміцнюйтесь Господом і могутністю сили Його. Одягніться в повну зброю Божу, щоб вам можна було стати проти хитрощів диявольських, бо наша боротьба не проти крові і плоті, а проти начальств, проти властей, проти світоправителів темряви віку цього, проти духів злоби піднебесних. Для цього прийміть повну зброю Божу, щоб ви змогли протистояти в день злий і, все подолавши, вистояти. Отож станьте, підперезавши чресла ваші істиною і одягнувшись у броню праведності, і взувши ноги в готовність благовіствувати мир; а понад усе візьміть щит віри, яким зможете погасити всі розпечені стріли лукавого; і шолом спасіння візьміть, і меч духовний, що є слово Боже.

Від Луки 8:26-39

Одного разу Ісус приплив в землю Гадаринську, що навпроти Галілеї. Коли ж Він вийшов на берег, зустрів Його один чоловік з міста, одержимий бісами з давнього часу, і в одяг не вдягався, і в домі не жив, а в гробах. Побачивши Ісуса, він закричав, упав перед Ним і гучним голосом сказав: що Тобі до мене, Ісусе, Сину Бога Всевишнього? благаю Тебе, не муч мене! Бо Ісус звелів нечистому духові вийти з цього чоловіка, тому що він довгий час мучив його; і в'язали його ланцюгами залізними і кайданами, і стерегли його, але він розривав ланцюги і гнав його біс у пустиню. Ісус запитав його: як твоє ім'я? Він сказав: легіон, бо багато бісів увійшло в нього. І вони просили Ісуса, щоб не повелів їм іти в безодню. Тут же на горі паслося велике стадо свиней: і біси просили Його, щоб дозволив їм увійти в них. І дозволив їм. Біси, вийшовши з чоловіка, увійшли в свиней, і кинулося стадо з кручі в озеро і потонуло. Пастухи, побачивши, що сталося, побігли і розказали в місті і по селах. І вийшли побачити, що сталось; і, прийшовши до Ісуса, знайшли чоловіка, з якого вийшли біси, одягненого і при своєму розумі, котрий сидів біля ніг Ісусових, і вжахнулись. А ті, що бачили, розповіли їм, як зцілився біснуватий. І весь народ краю Гадаринського просив Його відійти від них, бо їх охопив великий страх. Він увійшов у човен і вернувся. Чоловік же, з котрого вийшли біси, благав Його, щоб бути з Ним. Але Ісус відпустив його, сказавши:  вернись у дім твій і розкажи, що сотворив тобі Бог. Він пішов і проповідував по всьому місту, що сотворив йому Ісус.

Від Луки 6:17-23

І, зійшовши з ними, став Він на рівному місці, і багато учнів Його і безліч народу з усієї Іудеї та Ієрусалима і приморських місць Тирських і Сидонських, що прийшли послухати Його і зцілитися від недугів своїх, також і ті, що страждали від нечистих духів; і зцілялися. І весь народ шукав, щоб доторкнутися до Нього, бо від Нього виходила сила і зціляла всіх. І Він, звівши очі Свої на учнів Своїх, говорив: Блаженні убогі духом, бо ваше є Царство Боже. Блаженні ті, що голодні нині, бо насититесь. Блаженні ті, що плачуть нині, бо втішитесь. Блаженні ви, коли зненавидять вас люди, і коли відлучать вас, і ганьбитимуть, і знеславлять ім'я ваше заради Сина Людського. Радійте в той день і веселіться, бо велика вам нагорода на небесах.

"But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name's sake. But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist. You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relatives and friends; and they will put some of you to death. And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But not a hair of your head shall be lost. By your patience possess your souls."
