Tropar Resurrectional, Tone 3
Let the heavens rejoice. Let the earth be glad. For the Lord has shown strength with His Arm. He has trampled Death by death. He has become the First-born of the Dead. He has delivered us from the depths of Hades and has granted the world great mercy.
Tropar to St. John, Tone 4
Prophet and Forerunner of the coming of Christ,/ we who honor you with love can find no manner of praising you worthily./ For the barrenness of one who bore you / and the silence of your father have been ended by your being born of divine grace / and you have proclaimed to the world / the Incarnation of the Son of God.
Tropar to Great-martyr, Tone 4
In his suffering, O Lord, Thy martyr Procopius received an imperishable crown from Thee, our God; for, possessed of Thy might, he cast down the tormenters and crushed the feeble audacity of the demons. By his supplications save Thou our souls.
Kondak Resurrectional, Tone 3
On this day You rose from the tomb, Merciful One, leading us from the gates of death. On this day Adam exults as Eve rejoices. With the prophets and patriarchs they unceasingly praise the divine majesty of Your Power.
Kondak of our church, Tone 3
She who was previously barren / now bears the Forerunner of Christ / who is the fulfillment of every prophecy. / For the prophets proclaimed beforehand / that having laid hands on Him in the Jordan, / he would be manifest as Prophet, / Preacher / and Forerunner of the Word of God.
Glory ...
Kondak to Great-martyr, Tone 2
Set afire by godly zeal for Christ, and protected by the might of the Cross, O Procopius, thou didst cast down the audacity and boldness of the foe, and didst raise up an honorable temple, excelling in faith and enlightening us.
Now and ever ...
Theotokion, Tone 6
Protection of Christians not put to shame,/ unwavering Mediation before the Creator;/ despise not the prayer of sinners,/ but because you are good, quickly come to help us who call on you in faith./ Be swift to intercede and make haste to supplicate, Birth-Giver of God,/ who always protects those who honor you.

Epistles
Deacon: Wisdom!
Reader: The reading is from the Letter of St. Paul to the Romans.
Deacon: Let us be attentive.
Reader: Brethren, having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. I speak in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. For just as you presented your members as slaves of uncleanness, and of lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves of righteousness for holiness. For when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Deacon: Wisdom!
Reader: The reading is from the Second Letter of St. Paul to Timothy.
Deacon: Let us be attentive.
Reader: Son Timothy, you therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops. Consider what I say, and may the Lord give you understanding in all things. Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel, for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained. Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
Priest: Peace be with you.
Reader: And with your spirit. Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
Verse: Lord, in You have I hoped; let me never be put to shame.
Verse: Be a God of protection for me, a house of refuge, to save me.
Verse: The righteous man shall flourish like a palm-tree, and like a cedar in Lebanon shall he be multiplied.
Communion Verses
Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise Him in the Highest. Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
The righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. They shall not be afraid of any evil report. Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia
