Tropar, Tone 7
Christ our Life, You rose from the tomb after it had been sealed. While the doors remained closed, You stood among Your disciples renewing a righteous spirit in them. Our God, the Resurrection of All, You are most merciful.
Glory … Now & Ever …
Kondak, Tone 8
Christ God, Thomas explored Your Life-Giving side with an inquisitive hand. Since You had entered the room while the doors were locked, he cried out with the other Apostles: "You are my Lord and my God".

Epistle
Deacon: Wisdom!
Reader: The reading is from the Acts of the Apostles.
Deacon: Let us be attentive.
Reader: Brethren, now many signs and wonders were done among the people through the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon's Portico. None of the rest dared to join them, but the people held them in high esteem. Yet more than ever believers were added to the Lord, great numbers of both men and women, so that they even carried out the sick into the streets, and laid them on cots and mats, in order that Peter's shadow might fall on some of them as he came by. A great number of people would also gather from the towns around Jerusalem, bringing the sick and those tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all cured. Then the high priest took action; he and all who were with him (that is, the sect of the Sadducees), being filled with jealousy, arrested the apostles and put them in the public prison. But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors, brought them out, and said, "Go, stand in the temple and tell the people the whole message about this life."
Priest: Peace be with you.
Reader: And with your spirit. Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
Verse: Come let us rejoice in the Lord. Let us make a joyful noise to God our Savior.
Verse: For the Lord is a great God and a great King over all the earth.
Instead of "It is right in truth"
The angel cried to the Lady Full of Grace: Rejoice, Pure Virgin. Again I say: Rejoice. Your Son is risen from His three days in the tomb. With Himself He has raised up all the dead: Rejoice, all peoples.
Irmos: Shine, Shine, O New Jerusalem, for the Glory of the Lord has shone on you. Exult now and be glad, O Zion and rejoice, Pure Birth-Giver of God, in the Resurrection of Your Son.
Instead of "We have seen the True light:"
Paschal Tropar: Christ is risen...
Instead of
"Glory to the Father and to the Son …"
Paschal Tropar: Christ is risen... (3 times)
