Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. For every high priest taken from among men is appointed for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins. He can have compassion on those who are ignorant and going astray, since he himself is also subject to weakness. Because of this he is required as for the people, so also for himself, to offer sacrifices for sins. And no man takes this honor to himself, but he who is called by God, just as Aaron was. So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become High Priest, but it was He who said to Him: "You are My Son, Today I have begotten You." As He also says in another place: "You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek".

Браття, хто сіє скупо, той скупо і пожне, а хто сіє щедро, той щедро і пожне. Кожен вділяй з ласки серця, не з гіркотою серця і не з примусом, бо хто дає доброзичливо, того любить Бог. Бог же має силу збагатити вас усякою благодаттю, щоб ви, завжди і у всьому маючи всякий достаток, були багаті на всяке добре діло. Як написано: розтратив, роздав убогим; правда його перебуває повік. Той же, Хто дає насіння сіячеві і хліб в їжу, подасть щедрість посіяному вами і примножить плоди правди вашої, так щоб ви були багаті всім на всяку щедрість, яка через нас викликає подяку Богові.

Євр. 4:14–5:6

Браття, отже, маючи Первосвященника Великого, Котрий пройшов небеса, Ісуса Сина Божого, будемо твердо триматися сповідування нашого. Бо ми маємо не такого первосвященника, який не може співстраждати нам в немочах наших, але Такого, Який, подібно до нас, зазнав спокуси у всьому, крім гріха. Тому з дерзновінням приступаймо до престолу благодаті, щоб одержати милість і знайти благодать для своєчасної допомоги. Бо кожний первосвященник, котрий з людей обирається, для людей поставляється на служіння Богові, щоб приносити дари й жертви за гріхи,  який може бути поблажливим до неуків та заблудливих, тому що й сам обкладений неміччю,  і тому він повинен як за народ, так і за себе приносити жертви за гріхи. І ніхто сам собою не приймає цієї честі, але покликаний Богом, як і Аарон. Так і Христос не Сам Собі присвоїв славу бути первосвященником, але Той, Хто сказав Йому: Ти Син Мій, Я нині родив Тебе (Пс. 2,7); як і в іншому місці говорить: Ти – священник повік за чином Мелхіседека (Пс. 109,4).

Від Луки 5:1-11

Одного разу, коли народ тиснувся до Нього, щоб слухати слово Боже, а Він стояв біля озера Геннісаретського, і побачив Він два човни, що стояли на озері; а рибалки, вийшовши з них, промивали сіті. Увійшовши в один з човнів, який належав Симонові, Він просив його відпливти трохи від берега і, сівши, повчав народ з човна. Коли ж перестав учити, сказав Симонові: відпливи на глибину і закиньте сіті свої для лову. Симон сказав Йому у відповідь: Наставнику! ми трудилися всю ніч і нічого не піймали, але по слову Твоєму закину сіть. Зробивши це, вони піймали дуже багато риби, аж проривалася сіть у них. І дали знак товаришам з іншого човна, щоб прийшли допомогти їм; і прийшли, і наповнили обидва човни так, що вони почали тонути. Побачивши це, Симон Петро припав до колін Ісуса і сказав: Господи! вийди від мене, бо я чоловік грішний. Бо жах охопив його і всіх, що були з ним, від того улову риби, який зловили; також і Якова та Іоанна, синів Зеведеєвих, які були товаришами Симона. І сказав Ісус Симонові: не бійся; віднині будеш ловцем людей. І витягнувши обидва човни на берег, залишили все і пішли за Ним.

From John 10:9-16;

The Lord said, I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep. I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.
