When the stone had been sealed by the Jews, while the soldiers were guarding Your Most-Pure Body, You arose on the Third Day, Savior, granting Life to the world. Therefore, the Powers of Heaven cried to You Giver of Life: Glory to Your Resurrection, Christ. Glory to Your Kingdom. Glory to Your Divine Plan, only Lover of Mankind.
Tropar of the Feast, Tone 1
Rejoice, Virgin Birth-Giver of God, Full of Grace; from you shone the Sun of Righteousness, Christ our God, enlightening those who sat in darkness. Rejoice and you, Righteous Elder, who accepted in your arms the Redeemer of our souls, Who grants us Resurrection.

By Your Birth, Christ our God, You sanctified the Virgin's womb and blessed Simeon's hands – and now You have come and saved us. Grant peace in the midst of aggression to Your community and strengthen the people embraced by Your Love, Only Lover of all Mankind.

Deacon: Let us be attentive.
Reader: Brethren, all things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. Foods for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. And God both raised up the Lord and will also raise us up by His power. Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not! Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For "the two," He says, "shall become one flesh." But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him. Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

Irmos, Tone 3: In the shadow and letter of the law, let us, the faithful, discern a prototype: Every male child who opens the womb shall be sanctified to God. Therefore, the First-Born Word and Son of the Father without beginning and the First-Born Child of an Unwedded Mother, we magnify.

Браття, усе мені дозволено, та не все корисне; все мені дозволено, та ніщо не повинно володіти мною. Їжа для черева, і черево для їжі; але Бог знищить і те і друге. Тіло ж не для блуду, а для Господа, і Господь для тіла. Бог воскресив Господа, воскресить і нас силою Своєю. Хіба не знаєте, що тіла ваші є члени Христові? Отож чи візьму члени Христові, щоб зробити їх членами блудниці? Зовсім ні! Чи не знаєте, що той, хто з'єднується з блудницею, стає одним тілом з нею? бо сказано: двоє будуть одна плоть (Бут. 2,24). А хто з'єднується з Господом, той є один дух з Господом. Уникайте блудодіяння; всякий гріх, що його чинить людина, є поза тілом, а блудник проти власного тіла грішить. Хіба не знаєте, що тіла ваші є храм Святого Духа, Котрий живе у вас і Якого ви маєте від Бога, і ви не свої? Бо ви куплені дорогою ціною. Тому прославляйте Бога і в тілах ваших і в душах ваших, які є Божі.
