But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed—always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. Irmos Tone 8: Virginity is alien to mother-hood and childbearing is foreign to virgins. Yet, in you Birth-Giver of God, both are found. Therefore, all the nations of the earth unceasingly magnify you.

З Посла́ння до Гала́тів Свято́го Апо́стола Павла́ чита́ння (6:11-18)
Браття, бачите, як багато я написав вам власною рукою. Ті, які бажають хвалитися по плоті, примушують вас обрізуватися тільки для того, щоб не бути гонимими за хрест Христовий, бо й ті, що обрізуються, і самі не додержують закону, але хочуть, щоб ви обрізувалися, аби похвалитися у вашій плоті. А я не бажаю хвалитися, хіба тільки хрестом Господа нашого Ісуса Христа, котрим для мене світ розп'ятий і я для світу. Бо у Христі Ісусі нічого не значить ні обрізання, ні необрізання, а нове творіння. Тим, які живуть за цим правилом, мир їм і милість, та Ізраїлеві Божому. А втім ніхто не обтяжуй мене: бо я ношу рани Господа Ісуса на тілі моїм. Благодать Господа нашого Ісуса Христа з духом вашим, браття. Амінь.
З Другого Посла́ння до Коринтя́н Свято́го Апо́стола Павла́ чита́ння (4:6-15)
Браття, тому що Бог, Котрий звелів, щоб з темряви засяяло світло, осяяв наші серця, щоб просвітити нас пізнанням слави Божої в особі Ісуса Христа. Але скарб цей ми носимо в глиняних сосудах, щоб велич сили приписувалась Богові, а не нам. Нас звідусіль тиснуть, але ми не стиснені; ми в безвихідних обставинах, але не втрачаємо надії; нас гонять, але ми не покинуті; пригноблені, але не гинемо. Завжди носимо в тілі мертвість Господа Ісуса, щоб і життя Ісусове відкрилося в тілі нашому. Бо ми живі безустанно віддаємося на смерть заради Ісуса, щоб і життя Ісусове відкрилося у смертній плоті нашій, то ж смерть діє в нас, а життя у вас. Але, маючи той же дух віри, як написано: я вірував і тому говорив, і ми віруємо, тому й говоримо, знаючи, що Той, Хто воскресив Господа Ісуса, воскресить через Ісуса і нас і поставить перед Собою з вами. Бо все для вас, щоб щедрість благодаті в багатьох викликала ще більшу вдячність на славу Божу.
З Другого Посла́ння до Филипі́йців Свято́го Апо́стола Павла́ чита́ння (2:5-11)
Браття, у вас повинні бути ті самі почування, які і у Христі Ісусі: Він, будучи образом Божим, не вважав за посягання бути рівним Богові; але принизив Себе Самого, прийнявши образ раба, зробившись подібним до людей, і з вигляду став як чоловік; смирив Себе, був слухняним аж до смерті, і смерті хресної. Тому і Бог звеличив Його і дав Йому ім'я вище над усяке ім'я, щоб перед іменем Ісуса схилилося всяке коліно небесних, земних і підземних, і всякий язик сповідував, що Господь Ісус Христос у славу Бога Отця.
Євангеліє - Gospel Reading
Від Іоанна 3:13-17
Ніхто не сходив на небо, тільки Той, Хто зійшов з небес, Син Людський, Сущий на небесах. І як Мойсей возніс змія в пустині, так належить піднесеному бути Синові Людському, щоб кожен, хто вірує в Нього, не загинув, а мав життя вічне. Бо так полюбив Бог світ, що віддав Сина Свого Єдинородного, щоб усякий, хто вірує в Нього, не загинув, а мав життя вічне. Бо не послав Бог Сина Свого в світ, щоб судити світ, а щоб світ був спасений через Нього.
Від Матфея 22:35-46
І один з них, законник, спокушаючи Його, запитав, кажучи: Учителю! яка найбільша заповідь в законі? Ісус сказав йому: возлюби Господа Бога твого всім серцем твоїм, і всією душею твоєю, і всім розумінням твоїм (Втор. 6,5): це перша й найбільша заповідь; друга ж подібна до неї: возлюби ближнього твого, як самого себе (Лев. 19,18); на цих двох заповідях утверджується весь закон і пророки. Коли зібралися фарисеї, Ісус запитав їх: що ви думаєте про Христа? чий Він син? Кажуть Йому: Давидів. Говорить їм: як же Давид, з натхнення, називає Його Господом, коли говорить: сказав Господь Господу моєму: сиди праворуч Мене, доки покладу ворогів Твоїх у підніжжя ніг Твоїх? (Пс. 109,1). Отже, коли Давид називає Його Господом, то як же Він син йому? І ніхто не міг відповісти Йому ні слова; і з того дня ніхто вже не смів запитувати Його.

Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, "Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me." And Jesus answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. "But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her." And it happened, as He spoke these things, that a certain woman from the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, "Blessed is the womb that bore You, and the breasts which nursed You!" But He said, "More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!"
